Volunteers

Madelyn Caviness
Library Assistant
Madelyn Caviness is the Library Assistant at the Community Center. She helps run the Library during Community Jam on Friday nights. She is a valuable asset and volunteer at her church and is an award winning member of FFA at her school. She is a valuable team member at the library and can assist in checking out books, locating media resources for your use and can offer social choices such as games and puzzles that you can do with a friend. She can also make you a great cup of hot chocolate or coffee if you want something to drink while you read or socialize.
Rosalee Hiatt
Library Junior Assistant
The Library Junior assistant Is Rosalee Hiatt. Rosalee helps locate books, changes the library sign on the Marquee, sweeps the floor and assists in any manner in which she is asked. She wrote her own bio for this:
“I’m Rosalee and am 10 years old. I got to be the Library Junior Assistant. I like to sew and do crafts. I like to give gifts. I like to sing and dance and I like to bake. We started sewing in 2020 and we have eight people.”
I guess the last line is a plug for the sewing group that is also in the Community Center on Thursday nights and Saturday morning. So you can come and grab a book and learn to sew at the same time.
